Our community
Our school takes immense pride in celebrating the unique diversity that each family brings to our community. It is a true joy to provide opportunities where we can experience and learn about different cultures through food, stories, and traditions. Moments like these—where we all come together to share, connect, and celebrate—are a beautiful reflection of the vibrant and inclusive environment we strive to foster every day.
international fall festival
For over 50 years, we have been hosting the International Fall Festival. During this time, families have the opportunity to meet other families and enjoy amazing food from different cultures around the world. Each family is invited to prepare a special dish that represents their particular culture. Siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and caregivers are invited to this event. We feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful and diverse community of parents, and we greatly appreciate each of their contributions.
celebration of light
Every winter, our Elementary and Middle School students prepare a concert to share with families during the Holiday season. The Celebration of Light concert is meant to celebrate and honor our multicultural student body. Our Faculty and Staff work with our students to prepare a magical show that celebrates our diverse community and our different cultures and traditions.
may show
To end every school year our students from Primary to 8th grade put on a show for parents and families. Each class has an opportunity to perform a dance to a song of their choice, based on a theme picked by the school. Mrs. Amalie Meyer, the founder of our school, started this tradition 50 years ago.
